IT Systems Support Graduate

Term: Permanent – Full Time

Salary: £21-24k depending on experience


About the role

Based in ATASS within Oxygen House, you’ll help provide vital IT services to our growing group of companies within the Oxygen House Group.


This is a unique role and an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT, working with a pioneering group of rapidly expanding companies, across a diverse portfolio of sectors, including education, renewable energy and statistical research.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Setup and maintenance of company workstations and servers
  • Management and maintenance of Active Directory, Exchange, and associated services
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues
  • Monitoring and reporting on established IT systems
  • Liaising with IT consultants, suppliers, and service providers

About you

You may have recently graduated, or be about to graduate, with a 2:1 either from an IT related course, or BA/BSc degree with a demonstrable interest in IT. You’ll be ambitious and want to become an IT Systems expert.


A willingness to learn on the job is essential, though training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary support to excel within the role.


 Essential experience and skills: 

  • A minimum 2:1
  • A strong interest in IT
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organisational skills
  • A team player with good communication skills

Desirable experience and skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and other Microsoft products
  • Awareness of Linux or Mac OS X operating systems
  • Awareness of virtualisation and associated technologies
  • Awareness of network technologies including Switches/Firewalls/Wireless
  • Experience of working within a computing/IT environment
